The Compassionate Fund
The Compassionate Fund provides financial support for End of Life Doulas services to families in need who otherwise could not afford such care. This support can make a world of difference in the physical and emotional well-being of both the client and their loved ones. End of Life Doulas, apply on behalf of the family. If approved, Evergreen compensates the doula for their services.
Education
We believe that knowledge is power. Everyone should be aware of their end-of-life care options, no matter where they are on their journey. End-of-life care encompasses much more than hospice services; it includes ensuring that your Advance Directive is up-to-date and having important conversations with your loved ones about your wishes and needs. The Evergreen End of Life Care Foundation of Michigan conducts community outreach and events to educate the public about end-of-life options and the resources available in their area.
